Health and Safety is the new-normal

A few notes about what to expect when we re-open on Monday, 6th July (opening times here, by the way):

There will be no app for The Hop Bind, that’s just for the bigger pubs and restaurants. We will, however, offer table service where required, especially inside. We will assess whether we need to book tables in the future, but for now we won’t be entertaining this idea. We have contactless payments and that will be the preferred form of payment where possible.

You will be able to order from the bar but will need to then stand back and wait hopefully back at your table for us to serve you. There will be sanitizers at the entrance to the pub and that will be through the courtyard gates with an in/out through the same doors. The normal front door will be locked.

There will also be hand sanitizer at the entrance to the toilets and this must be used before you open the toilet door. Only two people will be allowed in at any one time.

The pub’s courtyard has had a major facelift with the decking area now being completely covered and re-painted and the table layout will be a little bit different to take the new guidelines into account. We will also have a table for empty glasses for us to collect from.

Everyone’s cooperation in coming to terms with the new-normal will be much appreciated and we hope we can all work together to make everyone’s trip to the pub as enjoyable an experience as it ever was. Cheers, once again. See you next week!
